Our Mobility Cart (PET®) is a three-wheeled, off-road wheelchair, operated by hand power. Built by a faith-based, non-profit, volunteer organization, mobility carts are delivered at no cost to people in developing countries who have lost the use of their legs.

Combined Federal Campaign

PET International is an authorized charity for the annual Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). The CFC is similar to the United Way in that all US Governmental employees (civilian and military, current or retired) can easily make contributions designated to specific charities or shared across all charities listed in the CFC. PET Austin Has to Move

Due to changes in the property where PET Austin is currently located, the PET shop will be moving.  The shop will officially be vacated by March 15.  We will begin to move everything into temporary storage and will continue to work at the shop.  We have been expecting this and are planning to meet our current commitment to Bethany UMC to build 40 PETs for Lent.  We have been building parts and will be planning some work days that will take place at Bethany to finish, assemble and pack the PETs.  Check the calendar for when these work days will occur.

As soon as we have a new home, we will be needing help to move and set the shop back up.  Then we will be able to get back to normal operations.

This is only a bump in the road for PET Austin.  This is God’s ministry and when it is over, PET Austin will be better and stronger than ever.
